Sonia Torres is a Senior Consultant with Bolton, specializing in compensation strategy, market analysis, and program design. She brings close to fifteen years of experience helping organizations develop compensation programs that align with organizational goals while balancing internal equity and external competitiveness. She is passionate about helping clients navigate complex compensation challenges while turning data into clear, practical solutions.
Sonia has supported organizations across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors, including foundations, state and local governments, and employers in manufacturing, technology, and retail. Before joining Bolton, Sonia held consulting roles with Buck Consultants, Korn Ferry, and Culpepper, and also led compensation for Asahi Kasei America, supporting compensation in a complex global business environment.
Sonia earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and holds the Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) designations.
